I arrived on Sunday evening alone, and worked from Panama City Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

We had rented this apartment for the week off of AirBnB.com. We were in the third highest building in Panama on the 43rd floor. The views on all sides were amazing. However, it did take a bit to get used to showering in front of the whole city. Last comment 01/12/16. Viewed: 1439 times.

Clayton arrived Wednesday night. Thursday morning we flew to David, the second largest city in Panama. From the plane we had a pretty cool view of the Panama Canal.

From David we took a taxi out to Boquete. Boquete is a tiny town in the Panamanian mountains known as a great kicking off point for hiking, coffee plantation touring, and outdoor adventuring.

In the past ten years Boquete has also been booming as a retirement location for Americans and Europeans.

As a result there are a lot of great little artsy stores and cafes. Clayton found a giraffe that is almost as tall as he is. Almost.

Clayton is 6’11 and causes a bit of a stir everywhere he goes. These women loved him.

We also made friends with this guy. Our lack of Spanish and his lack of English didn’t stop him from working with us on our pool game.
