After we arrived we were told that Geysir no longer erupts regularly but nearby Strokkur is one of the most consistent geysers in the world, erupting every 4-8 minutes. Last comment 04/19/22. Viewed: 1316 times.

We rented a condo for the week in downtown Reykjavik off of airbnb.com. It was much nicer than staying in a hotel! We were just around the corner from the funky Hallgrímskirkja (Lutheran church).
