The elephant skin and hairs are so tough that if you don't put a blanket down on its back, it will scratch up your legs and rear.. And noone wants that.. Blanket please! :-)

This is the view from the restaurant at Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. It was a very cool dinner setting. I had this same doofy smile for the whole meal. :-)
