After two consecutive overnight flights to get all the way down to Ushuaia, Argentina, a trip to a fancy spa was in order.

One of the more unexpected and interesting day trip option out of Ushuaia was to a beaver nature reserve.

Beavers are not native to Ushuaia and have thrived since their introduction in the 1940s.

Without any human or natural predators the beavers have drastically changed the environment of southern Patagonia.

The next day we took a tour of the beautiful Tierra del Fuego National Park, the southernmost National Park in the world.

We were lucky enough to get a visit by this Andean fox. After our trip when we tipped our tour guide he looked at us confused and then said "For the fox??"
