Team USA's lead off in the trials broke his left fibula on the backstretch. He finished the race in 46.1, which is sub par for him but incredible to do on a broken leg. USA hurdle great Angelo Taylor stepped in to run anchor for the US team in the finals.

It was a tight race between USA and the Bahamas all the way around the track, but Angelo got caught with 50 meters to go to give the Bahamas the win. It was only the 3rd time the US mens team has ever been beaten in the Olympic 4x400.

Although the US 4x400 loss was heartbreaking, I was was still on cloud 9 after a fantastic night of Olympic Track and Field.
