I traveled back to St. Kitts for the rest of my trip. This was the view of the trees, the pool, the beach and the harbor from the balcony of my room at the Ocean Terrace Inn.

I went down to The Fisherman's Wharf for dinner and just happened upon the second elimination round for the St Kitts Calypso King competition. 15-20 different singers competed to see who would advance to the semi-finals the next weekend. Fun!

I took a ride on the St. Kitts Scenic Railway. Originally built in the 1920s to bring sugar cane from the fields to the factory for process, now it is only used to show the island to tourists.

With its own theme song, choir, and dozens of Americans from cruise ships aboard, it was pretty touristy and cheesy. We went by the ocean...

The Vervet Monkeys are descendents of pets left behind by the French. They now outnumber the people on the island 2 to 1. The joke is that originally they were pets, and now they are a pest.
