Our first night on the road was spent in Bruges, Belgium. We didn't have any hotel reservations and couldn't find a single one with any open rooms, so we ended up driving around for a couple of hours until we found a nice secluded spot to park and sleep in the car. It wouldn't be our last time..

I really enjoyed our quick afternoon in Ghent! There was lots to see and do and the downtown area had a lot of charm.

We made it to my friend Sarah's house in Bremen, Germany. Thanks Sarah, good to see you!! Unfortunately we didn't think to take any pictures.. :-(
