We stayed at the house of an enterprising Basotho who is involved in agriculture, horses, and tourism. The next day he arranged for us to take a cultural tour of his village. Last comment 07/16/22.

One of the more memorable stops was to see a traditional healer. She even brewed up a glass of traditional medicine for one of us having stomach problems. Last comment 04/19/22.

The highlight of the cultural tour for me was a song and dance performance by a group of Basotho women. They also demanded that our girls put on the same skirts and dance with them. Everyone was enjoying themselves. :-) Last comment 03/28/08.

The sure footed ponies could traverse the steep mountainside with ease. At one point I let my pony run as fast as it wanted. I had no idea how intense and taxing it is to ride a horse that fast! My legs were sore for days. :-) Last comment 08/12/20.
