Kerry is an experienced rider and was given a powerful stallion to ride. I am not, and I was given a young lazy horse which continually complained about having to lug around a fat American..

After our trek from beach to beach we cut inland to see Costa Rica's active volcano, Mt. Arenal. Here you can see smoke from an eruption. Last comment 03/25/13. Viewed: 1025 times.

At the base of Arenal are natural hot springs heated by the volcano.. This is Tabacón resort, one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. Viewed: 1030 times.

The hot springs are magical, and you've got the beautiful rain forest on either side of you and a view of an active volcano above you. In a word: Incredible. :-)
