We made it to the drop off point in Ulaanbaatar by that evening! Success!! Only 50% of the teams each year finish, so we were pretty happy that we were one of the ones who did.

That night they had a party for all of the teams that had finished that week. It was fun to share some stories and talk to others who also had finished the trip.

Now we had 4 days in Ulaanbaatar to de-stress and enjoy life a bit. The first priority was to eat some good food!

This is an actual doorknob in a Buddhist center where we had lunch one day. It is perfectly positioned to be operated by my knee. :-)
